if you have not yet seen a solar eclipse, you will love it im sure, this is the first total solar eclipse in 99 years, for safety just remember to where proper eye wear, regular sun glasses will NOT cut it. also if you are going to film or take pictures put the glasses or tinted welders glass in over the camera, the lens can get damaged just as your eyes can, you can watch the eclipse through the screen. the welders tinted glass, it is welders 14 glass, something like that, the important part is that it is number 14 and that is the darkest glass you can get, im sure it's too late to buy some, apologies, meine Freunde. the only time that you Can take off your glasses is during the total eclipse when only the corona shows, more details on official sights that i have no link to. but if you are not in a place where the full eclipse is available, DO NOT take off your glasses, your eyes will be dilated, trying to take in as much light as possible and the small amount of the sun you can see can or will damage your eyes permanently. please be safe.
